NRES: The National Research Ethics Service

COREC announce the forthcoming launch of the National Research Ethics Service (NRES) on 1 April 2007. NRES will incorporate the Central Office for Research Ethics Committees (COREC) and NHS Research Ethics Committees ( RECs ) in England .

From 1 April 2007 the COREC and NHS REC Application Form website addresses will be changing.

The Business Plan is now available.

The Implementation Plan Building on improvement: implementing the recommendations of the ad hoc advisory group on the operation of NHS research ethics committees has been agreed by the Department of Health and has now been published.
