AHPPI holds two meetings a year, some of which are joint meetings with other organisations such as the Institute of Clinical Research (ICR) and the British Pharmacological Society (BPS).

AHPPI 2013 Conference: Translational PD Studies in Early Stage CNS Drug Development
The next conference has just been announced for Thursday 24th October 2013, 13.30 to 17.00. This year it will take place at the Academy of Medical Sciences, 41 Portland Place, London W1B 1QH. There will be a panel of highly acclaimed academic and industry speakers. Further details to follow soon.
The Joint Conference of European Human Pharmacological Societies
The Joint Conference of European Human Pharmacological Societies was held on 11th and 12th April, in Nice, France. The AHPPI were proud to work with European colleagues to bring delegates a series of workshops and lectures for this year’s title theme ‘Early Clinical Utility Assessment of New Medicines in Development’. AHPPI
The last conference was held on Friday 12th October 2012, titled “Personalised Medicine – will it work?”, at The Wellcome Collection Conference Centre. There were excellent speakers from organisations such as ABPI, MHRA, NHS etc. Please view the presentations here.

BAPU 2-yearly symposium took place on Friday 9 November 2012 at Radisson Blu Astrid Hotel, Antwerp, Belgium.

The BPS Winter Meeting took place 18-20 December 2012 at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre, London.
